About us

Sabine Audibert is a qualified osteopath registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC). She is a member of the British Osteopathic Association (BOA) and the British Medical  Acupuncture Society (BMAS). She is also fully insured.

Sabine suffered from back pain in her teens. Her regular practise of Yoga helped her manage it. As a result, she decided to become a yoga instructor. She spent four years part time  (900 hours) earning a diploma in Yoga at the Ecole Francaise de Yoga, the best Yoga School in Paris, in her native France.

Before starting teaching yoga and while teaching yoga, Sabine used to work as a qualified massage therapist.

After years of teaching yoga, she was determined to study osteopathy to be able to further help some of her students suffering from injuries or conditions that could not completely be resolved through yoga practise.

She graduated from the London School of Osteopathy and her degree was validated by the University of Brighton. The course consisted of 5 years studying for an undergraduate degree, which is similar to a medical degree with more emphasis on anatomy and musculoskeletal medicine.

She created Advanced Osteopathy after years of being in the field of the body. She is a structural osteopath. She uses visceral and cranial techniques as well as medical acupuncture (western acupuncture and dry needling) when appropriate.

Even though Sabine was able to prescribe remedial and corrective exercises, she wanted to develop a greater in-depth knowledge of rehabilitation. She attended post graduate courses that focused on functional neuromuscular rehabilitation, modified clinical Pilates and motor control retraining for dysfunction and performance with the best in these fields.

She is devoted to her patients, family and friends. She provides presentations, workshops and CPD courses  to other health care professionals and teachers involved in the fitness industry.
